Hiawatha National Bank has never shared or sold any of our customer’s personal information and it is the policy of this bank to not share or sell any such information in the future.

CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY OF NONPUBLIC PERSONAL INFORMATION:

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you.  We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.

PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED:

We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

* information we receive from you on applications or other forms;

* information about your transactions with us, or others; and

* information we receive from a third party, such as a consumer reporting agency.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE MAY DISCLOSE:

The bank does not disclose any nonpublic personal information about any present, or former, customers except as permitted by law.

REQUIRED OR PERMITTED INFORMATION:

The bank does from time to time have to submit a customers personal information to credit bureaus and other agencies to complete transactions requested by that customer. Examples would be for credit bureau reports on loan requests or to check printers who will prepare checks for your checking account.  The bank also shares information needed to protect against fraud and criminal activity for your protection.  In addition, the bank will provide government agencies information they request provided they are authorized by law to receive such information.
